So the game is an RPG in a similar style to undertale. It’s about this kid who gets hurt really bad. So bad that he goes into a coma and while he’s in the coma he has a MASSIVE dream. The game will take place in this dream world and you go through the dream fighting weird monsters, making allies that will help you in battle, save other kids who are trapped in the dream world, and eventually defeat the final boss who right now I’m calling “The Dream Catcher.” Please give me feedback and ideas. Also if I use your idea, I’ll put a reference to you in the game. (examples: base a character off of you, make a location for you, etc.)

Friendly NPC idea: A knockoff version of Dr. Eggman. His name is Dr. Hexcode. He has a shop where you can buy robots that will assist you on your journey. Robots can be bought with a currency called "Scraps". Scraps are, as their name suggests, scraps of metal. And in the canon, Dr. Hexcode uses the Scraps as materials for more robots.

Interesting concept. I will probably use it but I might tweak it a little bit. And this character would actually fit well with a different character I already thought of, so thank u for the help

Yup! Dr. Hexcode's name and appearance was actually my way of having a reference to me added.

make it that theres like a power up or smth that turns the dream into a lucid dream and gives the kid unlimited powers for a few seconds, like a star in Mario or smth

What I’m thinking about doing is that when in battle the kid has the option to attempt to lucid dream. And when he does this it has a chance of failing and something bad happens or something good happens. Someone already gave me that idea but I just expanded on it
