he's also said in his interview with Joe Rogan that in his first term he made some bad decisions appointing people who turned out to be neoconservatives within the government and that his second term will be much different, so it doesn't really surprise me that some of his former assistants are associated with the heritage foundation
and about project 2025:
project 2025 involves a national abortion ban with no exceptions
trump supports abortion with the exceptions of rape, incest, or the life of the mother being at risk
project 2025 involves banning all sexualities except heterosexual
trump is fine with gay people and has said that he wouldn't infringe on their rights, his vice president also said THIS WEEK that he was fine with normal gay people and that a normal gay person should vote for trump
so it's clear that trump is not in favor of project 2025, i mean there are probably some of the policies included in project 2025 that he agrees with more (and for the record, there are literally some things in there that i myself do agree with, but a majority of stuff in there i don't) so he might implement SOME stuff from there but he clearly wouldn't do the super bad things
