I have a few, the newer ones yes, the oldest one didn’t. It was my first one, but it's a keeper :)
I also have the additional cd disc changers so I can fill it up and listen away. My children are always telling me to turn it down, but I like my music louder. They are great, don't you agree?

Ah, gotcha. Yeah, Bose is the best. Bose and Harmon Karden. My mate has Harmon Karden and man, you can hear it all over every room and he has a huge house.

I bought my mother a Harmon Karden system with all the components! After she passed away, I have it. I'd give it away to get her back. It's an excellent system! I don't k ow anymore who's familiar with it, but they live the sound when they're over and tge music is playing! Hey, you have great taste fir a young man!

I grew up with it all, cassette, records, and remember seeing some 8 tracks in our home, theyvlooked like vhs tapes, but I think they were just lying around.
When I went to purchase the system, I purchased all of the components. She loved it. After all, my love of music came from her.

Yeah, it's really good. Vinyl's my favourite, it's cooler and crisper than CD if that makes sense, but cassette? Just sounds real nasty and dirty, almost staticky. Maybe my father's collection was just really old?

I agree, I have a lot of vinyl, including all of my mother's. In my vehicle I have a radio, satellite, I stream and cd as well. Not that I like music much, said no one ever. If the tapes have been touched the tape it may affect the sound. I remember it sometimes getting twisty.
A few of my moms older vinyl has a nice bit of static, but it's a sound that takes me back to my childhood. Playing her records and dancing and getting caught and in trouble :)

That's beautiful. Your love for your mum is beautiful. You're a lovely soul. Nice, I stream music as well, but a physical copy is always nice. I suppose that adds up, maybe I wasn't the best at handling tapes. I do believe myself to be quite clumsy, but I can be quite dexterous if the situation calls for it. Aw, why'd you get in trouble just for enjoying music, man? Music is good for the soul, even your mum must've known that seeing as they were her records. I, personally, always enjoy a full album. One thing that irks me about the music industry is how, even during a perfectly good album, they'll promote the hell out of one or maybe a few singles, but that seldom offers the picture of the whole album. The whole album's a story from beginning to end, an adventure. Just because the single might be catchy or poppy or more mainstream doesn't always mean the full album is. Most of all the albums I've heard have a diverse sonic variety, even if it's within one genre. That's why I like enjoying the full experience and buying and supporting my favourite artists.

My husband doesn't like loud music anymore :(

We support all types of artists, whether it be singer songwriters, actors and authors. We have a menagerie of everything. We are art lovers of every kind.
I think she was afraid O would scratch the records, I was in elementary school, but I get it and got it :)

That's beautiful. Same here. Aw, well, if nothing else, it showed that you appreciate it as much as she. Everyone deserves to be able to know and experience good music and expand their knowledge of the arts.
