There sadly isn't a choice as if he drops his glock, mercenaries will appear, and they won't stop spawning until he's re-armed, and I don't think anyone wants to deal with maniacs armed with fully-automatic assault rifles.

All signals are cut off

These never did work with signals, it's unknown on how it officially works, all that is known is that as long as you're not in a safe area (Safe areas are defined as a place where threats cannot enter or spawn in, and where death cannot occur.) They will come.

The DDO middle created a feild around bossfights causing a safe zone to appear, but arias bomb didn’t work correctly and death still happens

Then by that logic, it's not a safe zone, which means mercenaries will spawn if UO drops/loses his Glock.

No you can’t, but it confuses everyone. People think it’s a safe zone, cause it identifies as safezones, yet they die

You can't fool the spawner, if you can die in there, its no longer safe.

This can't be disabled until the mercenary compound is decimated in the story campaign.
