When this crapola started and leftists HOWLED that Ukraine would instantly win with U.S. backing, I pointed out that the only way a superpower like Russia loses to a non super power like Ukraine is if the cost of winning is just not worth the political 'cost' blowback for the superpower to unleash everything.

This U.S. backed war venture has always been Russia's to either win or lose with Ukraine 'efforts' being almost militarily meaningless.
