My children within range, and my eldest son's response

Hey, there's no age limit for fun. Admittedly, I've not gone trick-or-treating like a kid in too long, but if we lose our inner child, we lose the core of who we are, man. I mean, I still love animé and comics and you can't pry my comics out of my cold dead hands. I mean, yeah, I like other things that are less juvenile, but it's just fun stuff that I've always held close to my heart. Why should my aging put an end to it? The day I hit your age I'm probably still gonna throw myself an Avengers party. Love those things. You know, such a world of escapism and fun, you know? There's two types of stories: Those that make you grateful for the world you live in and those that wish you could venture to their world. Sure, much of the latter camp involves fantasy and young adult things, you know, teen and kid things, but there's so much to appreciate even as a man, you know. Like, imagine you're a kid watching Harry Potter right, you wish you were a wizard, Gryffindor, fighting the monsters, being either Harry or Harry's best mate depending on the day, and imaginative play is so fun and admittedly I'm still a sucker for it, but as an adult, there's so much depth and other lore to the story to appreciate. Like you're a mum right. Pay attention to what you're kids are watching. Sure, with the younger set it's probably mostly cartoons, but man, cartoons aren't just cheap animations to distract the young. Even in cartoons, you can still find worlds full of imagination and lore, cool characters, great storytelling, and so much. Even if they're unrealistic or just gag humour shows, there's just so much at play in everything. Seriously man. Like the Simpsons? Literally a cast of probably hundreds of characters. You never know what each episode is gonna be and tie back to. Everything just has so much hidden depths if you just open your eyes.

I couldn't agree more! I have when my kids were younger with them to tag along :) It's just the older kids get looked at funny by some people and although we don't care, and I tell my children that those people have forgotten about their fun and youth,the spirit of it all.
We love cartoons and cartoon movies in our home, for both our children and ourselves. There's so much adult humor. Even in Disney films. I love it! I love watching movies and shows with my children and family, but there are some things they're too young for, at least my two younger ones. Everyone has their eyes closed in this world.

It's so true, man. We all grow old if we're lucky, but growing up more than you have to isn't cool. It's one thing if you just don't have the time or something, but always make the time for yourself. Even if it's when you get home from work. Even with the kids. Even when you can't sleep. Listen to some music. Read a book. Even if you read 2 pages at a time, that's still progress. Yeah, cartoons are great. Every genre and medium has so much to offer.

You are so right! My younger children are sending me pictures from school, you know dressed up and even my Batman son, who didn't dress up for school has pictures of all his friends that did 😂 Family is everything. I love to read, and we are a house of music. My son loves and lives anime, and even my younger son and daughter love anime. My daughter loves Ponyo and the last Airbender series and my younger son also loves Pokemon my eldest son is into Naruto and Dragon ball.
After this weekend, I have a spa day with a friend when my in laws go back home.

Aw, that's so cute! Tell them happy Halloween. I'm glad they're having fun. Yes, family is a beautiful thing. I'm lucky to somewhat have family all around. Still really close with my mum and sister, but I'm also really close with my stepbrother and his family in Texas, and even my best mates and coworkers are like a third family for me. Having such a support system is everything, man. I'm not trying to boast. Just being happy. You're really lucky, too, to have what you have. There are some folks out there who are completely estranged from their family, and it's one thing if there were troubles at home, but so many people just completely disown their family for no reason. I'll never understand that. Family's the best kind of love. Friends come and go, and even if you remain good they might weave in and out of your life as you grow older and more distant, and romance is a beautiful thing, too, but it's something not everyone is lucky enough to find success in. Family, though, if you're lucky, is forever. Even if you don't get to see yours every day, they're always there for you. They're your bloodline, man. They've been with you since before you were born and, if you have a good one, which it's safe to say you and I both do, they'll be with you for the rest of your life. Oh, awesome! Never saw Ponyo, but love the rest. Used to collect Pokemon trading cards! Also Maron from Dragon Ball. Call me a freak, I know she's a cartoon, but the mountains on that girl, man. When I was watching that as a kid,,, man. Death Note's another goodie, but save it for when they're older. Love that shit though. Wait. Haha I realise. I shouldn't say Death Note on here... Well, I remember you saying the blonde fetish thing, but she obviously saw something special in him to watch him in the series which is exceptional. I love it, it's great from the acting to the cinematography everything is done very well. My guess is she must like Tom Blyth the actor to watch the series? Wait, did she watch it or you're not sure? When we finished trick or treating and we were headed home, kids were knocking here at 4 probably because it's a school night. So we handed out some candy and put the rest in a standing upside down witch with her skirt as a bowl. Something really cool we bought a lifetime ago, but difficult to describe. In any case, I digress. I asked my eldest son what he sees in that show he watches with my husband, his father and he said that guy is okay, but he's not really even in it a lot...?! So, what's the hype? He said he's only in the last season. So I don't understand what all the fuss is about!? It's like the Mets! Really though.
That would be a treat. Do you know how to do that? I know my children have limited screen time, but maybe there's a class somewhere or a tik tok or something else that I can learn from 🤷🏻‍♀️😂
So, what a sight, we consisted of two minions, my younger children, one Batman, my husband and I he was the cat in the hat and I was thing one and thing two, he said he wants those things later 😆 I had to do the child appropriate for outside, but got silly beforehand and showed him what I wanted to really do with the ting one and two. Picture of you will mountains. He laughed, I laughed and then he wanted to get frisky, but we had to go get Candy that my children will never eat. They like it sometimes, but it just goes into my office and I give it to everyone!
