RAMBLING THOUGHTS ABOUT WHAT HAPPENED | i was trying to play COD: World at War when it suddenly decided to process vulkan shaders one day. I didn't think much of it, so I let it download them. But then when I played it, the right joystick was jittery and weird. The game was running at a solid 60fps, but looking around wasn't smooth. The problem persisted until I decided to disable the framerate cap, and now it runs at 90 fps and looking around is much smoother. I don't

But seriously, why was a framerate limit the issue with processing vulkan shaders? Is it because World at War itself doesn't have a framerate cap, so I had to disable the cap on my Steam client as well?

This happens sometimes as well when my framerate cap on my Steam client is different from the cap in the game itself. They have to line up or else the CPU and GPU get stressed out.
