I know, right?! I'd really like to have a bug collection. They'd be the Stars of the show. Do you have a bug collection?

What? I DO like bugs. Just the idea of a bug collection freaks me out. A bug collection would mean impaling bugs (idk of they alive or dead) on sticks and preserving them for a long time. Or it could be catching bugs and stuffing them into bottles for their entire life. I would rather see them out in the wild instead of being impaled on a stick or being confined on glass bottles

Yeah, I've thought about how bad it would be to pin them up and frame them. It seems disrespectful. Maybe I should just collect little photos of them and mount the photos in groups. I once saw a collection of beetles. A guy had a Georgetown in a small vial, laying on cotton. It was fascinating to see it in 3D.

I would at most catch them in botttles or smalll jars and then take a few pictures of them before setting them free.

To get over my fear of spiders I collected them in jars and studied them. When I put a smaller spider in with a big one, just to see who won, I knew it was becoming a diabolical science experiment so I let them go outside.

My friend wanted to see how long 3 ants could survive in a jar without food or water or even any holes in the jar. He is creepy

I saw this guy on youtube who caught different insects, tied them to a string and saw how much weight of duct tape they could carry before setting them free

That's weird. What was the point of that? Did one insect out perform the others?

It was a fly strength test. That bro is known to perform science projects. All of those he tested were around the same.
