would have been built with SLAVE LABOR. If it were not for the Civil War ensuring that this would be a later route built after Reconstruction with IRISH Laborers.
The other 4 routes were built with Irish and Chinese Labor. & eventually so was the Southern Route. Just not first to be completed.
McLellan and Landers surveyed northern route connecting Minneapolis with Seattle,
was completed last; with former President Grant driving in it's final spike
in Montana, 50 miles West of Helena on September 8th, 1883. 14 years after Promontory Point Utah.

It seems likely that Republicans Samuel P. Chase and Lincoln went after descendants of Founding Fathers as a scheme to pilfer power from "The Sons of Cincinnati."
