I didn't lose weight until I stopped eating process food and gave up carbs.

you were in a caloric deficit, which is when you consume less energy (measured in calories) than you burn, the fact that you gave up carbs actually had nothing to do with your weight loss

Metabolism isn't quite that simple. Processed foods are hard on the body causing inflammation, and I'm diabetic. So my body doesn't process carbs right, check out the keto diet, where you limit carbs. It caused me not to be hungry all the time and thus easier to lose weight. I lost more than when I dieted without actually trying.

The ketogenic diet uses dietary fat for fuel, as well as cutting out extra water weight (making you think that you are losing fat because you bloat less and the scale goes down). Metabolism actually is as simple as calories in and calories out, according to the universal laws of Thermodynamics. Despite it being that simple, a lot of people do not find it easy to change their habits. Any living thing that has ever lost weight was in an energy deficit

Yeh, not that simple. Your metabolism rate changes based on several factors. For instance crushing disease will cause weight gain even on a very low calorie diet. Diabetics will also get hungry if they eat too many carbs, increasing your calorie intake without filling full making dieting harder. I also lost muscle with along with fat, so it is more than calories. That also means I burn calories slower now. As I work to put muscle back on I'll burn more calories and might gain non-fat weight.

actually it is that simple, people like you just like to come up with excuses as to why you cannot lose/gain weight. Muscle is lost in a calorie deficit unless you eat enough protein, but it really is just calories in and calories out

Nope, diet changes your metabolic rate, and therefor calories burned. You keep overlooking this as it was part of your statement that what I eat didn't matter and calories only did. But nice of you to overlook a known medical problem that that some other people have that causes weight gain, and tell me what I eat and getting it wrong for my muscle loss as my protein intake went way up.

Bottom line, for proper diet increasing your metabolic rate helps as will as decreasing calorie intake. What you eat can affect that rate as well as exercise. That's why athletes can get way more calories than the average person and not put on fat.

You cannot increase your metabolic rate without putting on weight, whether that be of fat or muscle. In terms of changing how much you weigh, it's strictly calories in and calories out. A doctor even proved this when he ate nothing but sugar and ultra processed snacks, and still lost weight

Athletes can get way more calories than the average person and not put on fat because they burn a lot of their calories through the athletic activities that they do, and because most of them are on strict meal plans, whereas the average person has no sort of structure to their diet. not only that, but a lot of athletes actually take extreme measures like self-starvation prior to certain events). Genetics also play a role in metabolic rate, but obviously cannot be influenced by your lifestyle

Nickcado said he is 2 steps ahead which meant he used filter
0 ups, 4w
No it was filmed in real time
0 ups, 4w
also look at his loss of face and subcutaneous fat and even other videos of him being thin, that is not something you can achieve with a filter

If u watched him i guess??

Not too many. I sometimes eat healthy food once or twice during the day.

I eat a lot of unhealthy food, gonna be honest, and I'm still underweight. My metabolism is high probably, I don't know if it's linked to my ADHD/hyper activity. a lot of people don't like me probably because of that :( they think I'm weird D'':

because they are not eating enough (absorbing enough energy via caloric intake) in order to gain weight, the quality of your food has nothing to do with your weight
1 up, 1mo,

I guess only just 2-3 handfuls of food isn't enough for them. I don't know, I'm not a food science expert.

Exactly, a lot of people think that they are experts just because they remember what their grandma told them so you were probably inundated with false advice, but research calorimetry and thermodynamics and you will find out something completely different
0 ups, 1mo
Exactly how you actually said is true.

My hope is that you figure it out
I gain weight mostly when I’m less active
0 ups, 1mo
Same, and I hope I'll have the time to exercise more than just go becoming unhealthy.
0 ups, 1mo
Simple: One part of course is what type of foods you but another is the quantity not matter what food you can always eat too much so just less food and exercise is another thing so yes follow this advice and you can see results
