There was a merciful miracle that happened in the storm. Yet, Americans were made to feel shameful. The mud has been stirred up by the bottom dwellers and we think there is no light remaining. To survive in darkness, we feel our way around by pointing fingers and yelling into the night. Perhaps we will find our group of those who lack the courage to rise up: those who will say our way of hating is correct. We want to be validated. We want our voice to matter. We cry out as if we are lost in a mine shaft and hope for rescue. We believe only a few should survive. Americans think they are alone, the only country in the world that matters. We believe we are the better than all other humans. We fail to see how our drama affects the entire world. We are spoiled. Yet, we writhe in misery because we have become addicted to chaos. We fight amongst ourselves. We have already forgotten those who are still homeless from the hurricane. Why? Because we allow Evil to stir the mud: because Trump calls the loudest to those in need. But he has already promised he will NEVER be merciful. Subconsciously, we know he will never rescue us. So, we fall deeper into SHAME because we know, deep down, we should know better. We know we should never have come to this point in our history. We know it will be hard to hold our heads up high for the rest of the world: we have already lost our place of respect. The world is watching to see if courage still exists. The world watches to see if it is possible for humanity to live like an American. SHAME is a savage, vicious storm.
