He was one of the "former" communists- er I mean democrats who joined the Reagan Revolution and failed to successfully impeach Clinton, like Asa Hutchinson, Bob Barr, John Kasick, Mike Dewine, Paul Ryan and other so called conservative stalwarts who left Washington and continued preventing conservative principles from being implemented.
