Pretty good loot from the two villages near spawn

I got materials for an iron farm and looked around for a spot to build it in creative mode on a copy of my world, then decided to experiment a bit to see how well it works here

The rates are pretty good and it completely prevents the cat problem I was worried about, gonna have to wait a bit for the redstone part though. All that does is filter out iron and poppies to turn them into bone-meal and iron blocks. Don't have a way to filter out string though so that'll just have to stay in the top chest

That's a plus, auto bonemeal and string farm as well as iron. I believe fishermen trade for string

If you need too, item elevator too the height you need. I can suggest a few designs depending on your collection system

The golems were perfectly fine, it was the cats I was worried about. I saw in a troubleshooting video that if there's too many near the farm it'll stop spawning golems

I haven't had a cat problem. try spqnproffing the inside of the farm as well. that sould work.

Eh, all I need is a couple lecterns. I have most of the materials for an iron farm that I plan to also use as a mini trading hall

It'll have ten villagers.

2 librarians

2 farmers

2 armorers

2 weapon-smiths

And 2 blacksmiths

I also recommend a auto potato farm (2 farmers and an extra villager).
Optionally linked up too a supersmelter fueled by a bamboo farm. You'll never run out of food (and is fully automatic)

Usually I just build an auto harvesting farm to cut down on villager transport

Basically I just plant manually then when I press a button some dispensers place water and that harvests the crops

I'm already likely gonna have to transport at least two a few hundred blocks away. Last time I built an iron farm I ended up having cats everywhere and risked the farm shutting down because there were too many loose, so I'm building it over the ocean to further limit the spawning area.

with the iron golem just making 8 spaces areound where the villgers are contained is enough too prevent iron golems spawing there
