Love it! Feels like me more often than I'd like to admit. Today I tried a new Starbucks order... peppermint mocha. Never doing that again. Might return for a pecan crunch oatmeal latte. If you ask me, peppermint doesn't go in coffee. Coffee's supposed to be something to warm you up and ease you into the morning, even if it's a cold brew, not give you brain freeze. I'm not one for mints much of the time excepting around the holidays in candy, but to each their own. That's why Starbucks is the best. There's something for everyone. Hope you enjoyed yours.

Ah, that is so unfortunate. Unfortunately it definitely describes me as far as having my neurons fire on all cylinders. I love both a mint now and again, and of course coffee; however, I've never tried it, nor does it sound like it would taste good. I had a chocolate mint a lifetime ago and decided it was not my cup of tea. I did enjoy mine, and thank you. Today was a cappuccino day for me. I was thinking about you and I sharing the sleep deprivation with God only knows how many others, but I remember you saying that you like tea... Have you ever tried licorice root and peppermint bark tea, it's like a form of holistic / traditional medicine teas. I was served it in a spa I went to and it was magnificent. I bought numerous jars of the loose leaf tea. It may side when you need to get some rest, who knows. Unfortunately, in my profession currently there are many changes going on, restructuring with people leaving, not getting let go, and tomorrow is a big meeting in the morning. I love my job, it's challenging, ever changing because it also deals with ever changing equipment, software etcetera. It's all for the greater good of the people we take care of. I am a student for life, of life. I love to learn and grow; however, our manpower is down by two, and they're not looking to replace at this time. So, tomorrow will bring new surprises and hopefully they'll be good. Sorry, I didn't mean to pour that out, but I was quite shocked this morning after finding out. It's annoying to me when people want to get paid and don't want to work, or slack off. Once again, sorry for the rant. This as was my local forum was and is meant to be fun and just be freeing, you know? I hope you are having a good day! Heading home now. Just wanted to pull over, check my EMail and play a quick game of backgammon.

You sound like you've spent a day in bloody Hell. My sincerest heartfelt apologies for whatever you're going through. Yeah, I never hopped aboard the mint chocolate bandwagon either. My taste buds prefer to keep it simple, admittedly. Aw, nice about the cappuccino! I love that myself. 'Tis a classic. I call it my old reliable. No, I've never had that, but I love licorice. I must try it sometime. You seem very wise. Yeah... Jobs are a hassle, man. Beside my long-term career, I worked several odd jobs years ago and I never felt like a good fit for any of them. I held a vast array of different positions in a short time, but not for any good reason. I sucked as a skivvy (burned my bloody face on the floor, tripping over some spilt soup). I sucked as a bait-and-tackle salesman. Hell, I even sucked as an ice cream scooper. I was exhausted one day, gave these two kids the wrong flavour and they flung it back into, again, my face. I feel you, man. Yeah! I totally agree about the forum being an escape. Trust me, this is probably one of my favourite sites nowadays. I'm having an alright day, but it sucks to hear you're not. Hopefully tomorrow will be easier, okay? Oh, I love backgammon... Yet another game I almost completely suck at. Hey, don't forget to go drink some water and get some UV. Humans are like houseplants, just with more emotion. It seems simple, but you'll feel better, and that's what counts, man.

Every day is a good day. Things happen, c'est la vie. I love my career. Sometimes things get a little bit strange. Change is good, and I believe that it will all be well in the end. I drink tons of water. I had to stop and walk in the park because on my way home there was a brace of ducks! I've never seen so many there must have been about 70 ducks or so. I took a nice stroll, did some deep breathing and I shall be heading home when the ducks decide to move soon. I must say it is a nice and refreshing sight, and it made me smile. Today began at 4:30. So, I am looking forward to getting home to my family and relaxing outside for a while with them! We are definitely an outdoors family! I'm sure that you didn't suck at your jobs, maybe it just wasn't meant to be. How great is it that you love what you do, and what a blessing that is! The temperature is about 80 and sunny here so, it's a gorgeous day to be outdoors. Glad to hear that you enjoyed your day as well!

Nice mentality to practice. Even if you don't believe it every day, keep affirming yourself. That's the first step. I'm happy things seem to be looking up for you. You deserve a break. Water is very healthy, and I, admittedly, don't believe I drink as much as I should, but it's really good. I'm a huge tea drinker, though, which I should probably cut back on. Wow! Aren't ducks beautiful? That was a miracle of nature. It was the universe reminding you of the beauty in this world, which society can often try to make us ignore, but if you fully ignore the beauty of life, you'll lose your soul. Try feeding the ducks! There's a lot of ducks and geese around where I live sometimes. They always make me smile. I hope you enjoy the evening with your family. They definitely deserve a matriarch as yourself. You're a very wise and kind person. Ah, thanks for the kind words. You know what does suck, even if you're skilled? Finding work of that short-term nature. I had so many different jobs within, like, a year, and not a one had to do with the other. Even HR had no idea what to do with me because they just assumed I probably had a horrid track record. Yes, I know I essentially did that to myself, but I'm pretty sure I'm on the right track nowadays. I feel very lucky and successful in what I've been pursuing, and it's been paying off quite nicely. Nice! It's a smidge cooler here, but still nice and warm. Glad you're enjoying your day. Have a good one.
