🤣 Sally is a smart entrepreneur! I used to get golf balls from the country club when I was little and sell them back to the golfers at 25¢ each.

Oh, neat! I love golf. I'd say I'm an avid golfer, and I am as far as quantity goes, but I'm afraid I'm not the best at it. Sometimes, I'll luck out and get a hole-in-one, but my aim isn't great. Another pastime my father shared with me. The golf scene in my home country is amazing, and although it seems popular here in America, miniature golfing seems to be more popular. Miniature golfing is a joke. It's supposed to be easy enough for small children, but the compact size of the holes makes it even harder for me. I consider myself somewhat awkward in some ways, but I do find golfing relaxing. I don't practice it to get good, I just do it to ease my mind and clear my head. Country clubs, on the other hand, aren't all they're cracked up to be. I was fortunate enough to get into one myself at one point, and they do partake in many fun activities, and the food is some of the best, but the people... Yikes. Needless to say, I didn't show up all the time... I'm not very favourable with those folks.

That's interesting. I am good at getting on the green; however, my putting is not so good. My stepfather belonged to a Country club back home and I agree with you there, the activities, and fun, and the food was good. The people were well, let's just say, you are totally right. I didn't care for it, and got into a little bit of trouble when I took a golf cart for a spin on the course after an event. I wasn't a bad teen, but I was a teen, maybe 12.

I feel you, demoting the green. Golf is a double-edged sword: One of the most relaxing pastimes, yet deceptively tricky. Yeah, so you must get it. The country club life is not for all, even if you do find yourself fortunate enough to come into money. Having money and being grateful to be so fortunate is one thing, but I don't stroll around as if it makes me a God. I'm still a human being. You're a human being, my neighbours are human beings, the barista at Starbucks is a human being, and although we may be in different financial situations, it doesn't mean dog bollocks as far as whether that makes someone a better person. Some of the less fortunate people in my life are some of the humblest and wisest people I know, and contrastingly, some of the wealthiest people I know, including some I'd been so excited to share encounters with, are jerks. That being said, there's folks of all extremes in all classes. I'm not trying to take away from some poorer folks who are downright miserable and some richer ones who are my best friends, but I'm just saying that preconceived notions aren't always true. Oh, wow. Yeah, I don't blame you. Golf carts are pretty fun, and, if nothing else, you were teaching those stuffy twats a lesson in real fun. You did nothing illegal, you did nothing wrong. You were just a kid having fun. There's nothing wrong with that!

You absolutely get it! I met a famous football coach as a young girl and he was such a jerk. Mean and nasty. A real curmudgeon. We all put our pants on one leg at a time! The county club life was definitely not for me, and the golf cart that I hijacked for a couple of hours was a blast.

Ah, thanks! That sucks. What team? American football or British? My apologies for the awkward question. I'm British and often have no idea what sports fans are speaking of sometimes in regards to football. British football is great, but its American counterpart, though fun, can't be more different. It's often confusing. Out of American sports, I prefer basketball and baseball. Go Knicks and Mets! True, true. Glad you had the guts to stand up for yourself and get out, but the golf cart joyride sounds like great fun. Wish I could've been there!

It did and it made me not like our home team as a result, it left a bad taste in my mouth. No apologies necessary. Oh, that's great, I had a British gentleman today come in to work and we had a consultation. I love the accent. He had just returned from visiting his wife in England. He has dual citizenship. He is a client in the oil business. A very nice gentleman, and we were actually ending our meeting discussing tea and how much he misses his wife. It was quite endearing. I digress. Well, that's right. Now that you tell me your British when you hear football, it's literally football which I haven't a clue who here named it soccer! That is so stupid to me when I think of it. In any case being raised stateside, it didn't occur to me to mention it. My apologies. It was American football, which should be called something else! What, I don't know, but it was the Dolphins, the Miami Dolphins. Oh my! I can't believe you said that! I love sports and always have as a child for some reason I used tobwatch boxing on my own. No one in my family liked it. I love both basketball which I am not good at unless it's at the arcade and I love Baseball! Ibalso love British football, here is siccer which should be called football! Now lets het to it, shall we. Okay, I love the NY Knicks, but I am a diehard Yankees fan! So, I don't know what will happen with this camaraderie come the series and spring. I take it that you'll be rooting for the Dodgers because they're not the Yankees 😶 I must admit it was loads of fun!

Ah, gotcha. So soccer is the American term for British football and football is the American term for whatever your people made up with the pigskin. I'm into both. Aw, sweet! Glad to hear it, about our accent. I'm very flattered. Thank you so kindly! That's so kind. Nice! Have you been keeping up with the games? The Knicks are kicking ass. Oh, really? The Yankees? You like the New York Yankees? Man, the Yankees suck! They've sucked for ages! They've never won a game. Mets for life. You've got to watch them play. Met Adam Ottavino. Nice man. Name a Yankee who doesn't suck dog bollocks. You can't. They all do. Never seen a good Yankees game. Sucks about the Dolphins. Sorry to hear it. Absolutely! Go Dodgers! Whoa, man! That's confusing! If soccer is football, then what the bloody Hell is football...? Thanks for starting another sleepless night in my home, haha!

Yes, isn't that crazy!?! Yes, they have been doing well and what a great lineup they have, sad they're trading Grimes. Okay, lets do this. It's on! Seriously, I've been a fan since the 80's and was at the original stadium where I met Joe Pesci and we had a blast laughing eating a hot dog and shared a couple of beers. We were yelling at the Mets in April of 89, which by the way we (the Yankees won)! The Yankees have won 27 world series, how does that suck!? That's magnificent, how dare you! 🤣 Now I'm on fire 🔥 and I won't sleep either. The Mets only beat the Yankees only once and that was in 2013 my imgflip friend 😋 I will admit that once they got Roger Clemens in 1999, it was the beginning of the end of a magnificent and magical era / journey. He brought some bad juju to the team. My mother was a huge (for the sake of our imhflip friendship) I shall try to remember to call pigskin ball just that. Having said that, I remember my mother being a big pigskin ball fan. Then I got her into baseball, it was a long arduous task explaining the concept to her, but she eventually became a you guessed it, a huge Yankees fan! If you enjoy comedy, may I ask if you've ever seen or hear George Carlin do his bit on football (American) versus Baseball? It is funny! He was one of my favorite comedian s that is still relevant today. Not to go back in a previous conversation, but you mentioned that your father took you to a Def Leppard concert , I love them, but never got to see them. I do love music though. Music from the 40s, definitely before my time to now, and every genre. It tells a story and takes you to a place and time and evokes feelings, memories justblike books, movies and shows. Music soothes my soul, like the ocean does. That's where I re-energize. I do hope you can get some rest tonight and remember the mantra, "Let’s go Yankees!" We need to come up with a normal name or just call it football, who the heck named football siccer! I'm from here and it makes zero sense! How do British people curse and it doesn't sound offensive like the American curse words🤣 You are very funny!

They re so bad man they gotta all retire . Hey! Even tired eyes can see you... megs don't duck they rule! Joe pesci weems like a good man and actor. Hey though here's a warning if you go to anymore. Ah, gotcha. Sorry. Didn't mean to come off rude. Yeah, he will. Mad respect for Texas and Texans. Oh, no! I didn't mean to infer anything. I just meant the old Yankees players as opposed to the current lineup! Sorry! Oh, cool, about Roger! Neat. Guess, according to you, he's the one lousy Texan, haha. Seriously, between my niece, Quentin Grimes, and the most beautiful woman in Texas, Texas can do no wrong in my eyes. I bet it was well worth it for you and your mum, though. She loved it just like you, and those are times you'll be able to relish forever. I remember watching sports with my father as if it were yesterday. I feel you. Cool to hear about Joe! I understand, but even without the homework, I'd still like to understand and be able to chat with you some more! You seem to know a lot. I'm a pretty open-minded fellow. Oh, yes, of course! I've not heard original music from her, only a handful of covers she recorded for my niece's voice mailbox, but her range is astonishing. That woman can sing melodic and soft like a whisper akin to Billie Eilish, but she can also belt like a powerhouse and even pull off a killer metal scream that sends shivers up my neck. She could sing literally anything. I couldn't believe they were all the same voice, if we're being honest. She's a total badass wrapped up in the cutest package ever. She's everything anyone could want. Ah, my heart. I love her so, so much it'snearly unreal. It feels unreal. Every time i am allowed even a snippet into her world, I crave more,  but, as a gentleman, i must respect her time, since it is her own to do with what she wishes. My only wish for her is that I wish her the world. Also, glad to hear some sense from you denoting the Yankees! They suck so hard . My niece  is getting along well, thanks for asking! She returned to her job today. Time will tell how she fares, but she seems happier. My heart is happy to hear it. Aw, shucks! I'm very flattered. Again, no need for compliments! Have a good one.

You didn't com off as rude. I consider myself a very easy going person and I don’t take offense easily. Just kidding around with you is all. You seem a little shy, that's a sweet quality. Yes the Yankees suck hard but the Mets suck harder, lol Yes, Joe and I sat next to one another and of course I knew who he was, but I was there to enjoy the game, said hello because he looked at me as I sat and I was always taught to be kind and when we made eye contact we said hi, shook hands introduced ourselves and hung out as if we'd known each other forever for those few hours we were sitting next to each other. It was a pleasure to meet him talk about baseball and yell at the sucky Mets. Well, if you come across her music you must share it with permission of course. She seems like a very artistic individual and her drawings are absolutely beautiful. Some people have it and some don't. I definitely don't. This young lady has you in a tizzy. She really must be a special young woman. I love Billie Eilish and Rhianna, great artists. I love teaching my children about music and culture. I wish you both much success in your endeavors. Thank you for the nice compliment. Next time I will tell you about our karaoke nights here, you'll laugh tour head off! I'm so glad to hear your niece is doing better, thank goodness for that! I wish we were neighbors, we'd chat all night about music, baseball, American football and maybe come up with a new and normal name for it. But that is super silly American football, I mean it's just so stupid. Have a good one my cowboy Met fan friend! 🤣

Yeah, Grimes is up there with the best for sure. Excited to see his next chapter. Fun little factoid, he's from Texas, right around where my niece lives. That place seems to be brimming with talent... I love Texas. Oh, you've met Joe? I haven't, but he's iconic. Saw Goodfellas with my father. Excellently written film, but quite disturbing. One of those films you must watch but you can only stomach it once. Oh, okay! Sorry! Didn't mean to offend. I've been in this country less than a decade. I was a kid in 99 and wasn't even born in 89! Guess I've gotta catch up on my old ESPN and check out the old Yankees. That's rather impressive, man. Roger Clemens... not a terribly familiar name. I think he plays for a different team now. Not sure. Aw, glad to hear your sharing of your love for sports with your mum! Sports are great fun. I'm sure every American family's bonded over them at some point or another. Seriously, though, have you seen the Yanks lately? They really do suck now. I'm sorry. Mets for life. No, not terribly familiar with Carlin, but I ought to check him out! Sounds great. I'm not the biggest connoisseur of stand-up, but Eddie Murphy's Raw from back in the day was a huge hit even in England. Some of my childhood mates could quote bits from it word-for-word. Guess I have a lot of homework to do, haha! Thanks for all the recommendations. Yeah, again, not the biggest metalhead, but Def Leppard put on a hell of a show. I'd never seen anything like it. I, too, appreciate all eras of music. Sure, say what you want about trends and relevancy, but all eras have lots to offer. I could argue for music from my parents' time as well as my own and even current hits. There's lots of good talent out there. You know the artist woman I keep raving about? Well, my niece has shown me audio of her singing, and even her singing voice is mesmerizing. I believe it was a Rihanna song. Her range is incredible. I'm not sure whether her singing is out there online or if it's just something she does as a hobby when not drawing, but man, even her speaking voice is melodic. Her giggles sound like beautiful, tiny bells ringing. Her singing is majestic. If she were to put out music of her own, or even just covers, she'd be a big hit, but of course I'm content with what she already does. Is there nothing she can't do? Ah, one can only wonder. All I wish for is to see my darling happy in whichever lane she chooses to find her success in. Anyways let's go Mets and possibly old Yanks.

No offense taken, or meant. It was all in good fun. He'll do great, really he's from Texas, I think I read that. If you want to laugh, guess where Roger Clemens came from, Texas! Joe is such a nice guy and really funny too, he's a hoot. Goodfellas is a great movie! Are you trying to say I'm old or just saying it outright because of the Yankees. When she was alive my mother loved baseball, yes. It was a hell of a time to explain and teach her about it though and it was quite funny too. I miss it and her dearly. Oh, I'm not trying to give you homework, just talking / writing. You know... Unfortunately, yes. I have seen the "new Yanks", and they do SUCK! However, one must always have hope and after all they are in the running for the Word Series! I am very loyal, but I do say it like it is. I totally agree with your comments on music it's true.
The young woman artist sings too? Wow! That's really cool. You speak so highly of this young lady and it's beautiful to desire happiness for someone. It's seems sincerely beautiful. I do wish the young lady the best in her future! Speaking of young ladies I do hope your niece is doing better.
I can only imagine, because when football (British) was first spoken of and explained to me, in my twenties, I was in shock and very confused.
You seem like an adorable young man, and I wish you a wonderful evening

P.S. Hey, if you're American and confused, imagine me over here! Profanity is much more normalised in my homeland, haha. It's every other word, even out of kids! Thanks for thinking I'm funny. Have a good one.
