Mystery Of The Wax Museum/ House Of Wax

I've seen "House of Wax" many times. I have yet to see "Mystery of the Wax Museum".

I did go to the Madame Tussaud Wax Museum in Orlando, Florida, and those wax figures are amazingly realistic. You wonder if they're real, just waiting for the right moment to move....

I have been to a wax museum as well when I was a kid. I thought the same thing. I remember it was right after I saw both The Mystery Of The Wax Museum and House Of Wax both films were playing back to back on AMC's Monster Fest back when Halloween Time was Halloween Time and TV stations still knew how to broadcast horror movies.

There is also another movie that was inspired by these films that came out in 1973 called Terror In The Wax Museum which has a great cast and was produced by Bing Crosby Productions if you can believe that one. Stars: John Carradine, Elsa Lanchester, Patric Knowles, Ray Milland, Maurice Evans, Louis Hayward and Broderick Crawford.

In that film the wax figures comes to life.
