Ok I haven't started on the kelp farm but I did some redstone magic and now I can filter poppies and iron from my farm's output to make bone meal and iron blocks

bonemeal is quite useful. But I tend too save it up and use it too decorate.

Now I'm making a sugar cane farm because I got all the leather for an enchantment setup but then I realized I didn't even think about paper until now

How is losing your items fun-

I only carry good stuff on me when doing a project or returning from the mines. And all my gear is iron (iron farm in the spawn chunks) so if I die I more than likely would only lose a few seeds. Iron equipment dirt and water very stone and wood I'd be transporting

Sugar cane takes around 7 mins too grow.
If the block above it updates then that timer resets. So connecting them individually fixes that problem.

I only really need sugar cane for one thing and I'll probably have more than enough by tomorrow morning, I took a look a couple minutes ago and I think I already have like 20 of them

Here's a tip: unless you need a specific wood type you can make an automatic bamboo farm to get it infinitely whenever you want
