My extent of knowledge on Warhammer is memes and random stories, like that time some royal guardsmen(I think) killed orks by making them think their weapons were loaded and shouting "bang". I also have a general overview of the chapters.

It'll take you a while, but you should get put of the memes if you get the chance and get into the lore. Everyone starts at the memes - I myself wanted to see if the Ultramarines' reputation matched the memes about them. When you do get to the lore, note that there is a lot of shit to get through. I could be wrong about some of the things I've told you, because I've merely scratched the surface of Warhammer'a lore.

There is no way in hell that I'm getting into Warhammer lore, but I'll keep consuming the meme content. While it's neat, I've got plenty of other properties to occupy my frontal lobe.

Only lore I keep track of is helldivers, and that's because it's actively unfolding. We're currently undergoing our own horus heresy.
