in dark beginnings, when shadow asks rouge for help, she says she'll only do it if he comes to sonic's bday party (hence why he shows up in og gens). shadow gens takes place like right after shadow reaches the ark , so he must've visited sonic's bday when he was done bc he at least shows up in the ending party (I'm not so sure abt the first party where everything went wrong cuz I forgor); I wonder if shadow generations will canonically take place before sonic generations
