A few months ago, my brother was going through the suggested songs on Spotify, and we found Soul Sister by Train. Despite only being teenagers, we were both hit by a wave of nostalgia. We had always remembered that song from when we were young, our mom had a early 2000s playlist that she would put on that included that song plus a few other bangers, but we hadn’t heard it in a long time. It started playing, and both of us were immediately all, “oh my gosh, it’s that song. We finally found it.” We didn’t know the lyrics, but we knew the tune. Afterwards, I went on a deep dive to find the other bangers that we loved (mainly Jason Mraz and Bruno Mars songs). If you actually read all of this, I appreciate you.
