Because most diseases just make you sick and you die, thats about it
some diseases are fascinating on the way they kill, like
Tetanus locks up your body until you die

The flu turns your skin a bluish-black, fills your lungs with blood and pus as you die (seriously do not f**king underestimate the flu, we have vaccines for a reason)

Cholera dehydrates you and makes all water that you drink useless until you die

Diseases are terrifying
I once had some strange bacterial infection or something that heavily weakened me. It may have actually been the flu, but i was vaccinated so it may have just been a different type. I remember lying in my parents bed with the light off for long periods of time because I couldn't even play games when it was hitting me the hardest. I had to go the hospital and they said It was probably fine (i was absolutely miserable, beyond just a "cold" and my mom knew it) so we went to a DIFFERENT hospital when i got an antibacterial injection and recovered because of it

Similar case to yours.
6 years ago,I got falsely diagnosed with bronchopneunomia. It made it very hard for me to breathe and to do regular activities.I constantly wanted to sleep and had times when I couldn't stand up.This year it turned up that I just had chronic maxillary and ethmoid sinusitis, gradually talking the mucus down to my lungs.Still taking a lot of medicine and I constantly feel weak
Definitely is hard living with a disease related to the respiratory system

I remember that time and wanting to just play on my 3ds. I could bear the majoras mask home screen background on it, as i put it down to puke over and over, unable to play.

I don't really get sick anymore. My immune system is strong for unknown reasons

once i got this really bad case of sore throat, I couldn't talk/breathe without it hurting horribly, i could barely eat for like a week and i had to keep taking honey nyquil but it's like it made it hurt more in a way and now i easily catch sore throat sicknesses and I always wake up with a sore throat

Also known as lockjaw because it first starts in the jaw
Then gradually it starts spreading in the body eventually causing muscle spams causing you to die
Mainly caused by a rust cut
Dw,there is a vaccine for this

I had hand, foot, and mouth

basically it puts random ass spots on your hands (when I recovered I washed my hands and for some reason they just came off) and blisters on your tounge, making it hard to talk, eat, etc

I was stuck on GO GURT for a WEEK, and that was the first time I tried cracker barrel, had their mash potatoes but couldn't eat it because it had chunks of potato in it

Opinions, opinions mate. Respects to that. One of my friends caught the f**king virus from a rust pole a couple or so weeks ago and he’s in a bad condition. I suggest you don’t fawn over it so much that you try to contract it.

I never said I wanted to???
I just find different diseases morbidly fascinating.
What,is it wrong to want and understand how diseases affect the human body?

I never mentioned that. That was an advice of safety, for, well, you know, that’s exactly how my pal ended up with that shit?

Pretty obvious. I have math and science coaching in a moment, so I’ll make it snappy.

He was incredibly fond of “researching” diseases (contracting them). Funny fellow, eh?
Well, he rubbed his arm (forearm) on a rusty pole so fast and hard that he got a NASTY abrasion and the virus entered through there. Ah well. He’s faring much better now, goodness.

That was at his hand.He could have not just done it to suffer such consequences.

An abrasion. A nasty graze. It was a fairly damp and rusty pole.

Making the robotic arm came with its downsides.
