Not all anime fans are awkward neckbeards, a lot of them are cute girls (I knew them back in highschool)

In tv shows like The Big Bang Theory, it shows the stereotype that only awkward guys who are usually incels are fans of things like anime, marvel movies, etc. and attractive women are almost never a fan of such things and look down upon such guys and the things they like but in highschool I knew a lot of girls (many of which were not in anyway ugly and were even cute) and they are all big fans of anime and look forward to the latest marvel movie as much as the big bang guys and they even started their own anime club in the school. I saw their social media posts years after graduating highschool and they are still fans of anime and watch the latest marvel movie.

If you were hoping you could've gone to my school and dated any of those girls, I'm afraid you would've been out of luck. It was a Catholic school and all those girls were a bunch of devoutly religious Catholic prudes who didn't like flirting with boys and loved staying after and before class to help the religion teachers. I found it very hypocritical of those girls to be all "good little Catholic girls who keep their virginity" because they are fans of anime which are violent and even pornographic cartoons that are by definition against their "Catholic values". Being the Catholic prudes they are, they are conditioned by their dad and their pastor to not only avoid flirting with boys all in the name of "being pure" and "not being s**ts" but also not be inclined dress in a way that will make boys have "lustful thoughts" but those girls also liked to go to comic con and dress up as anime girl characters which are prime examples of the "male fantasy". They avoid flirting with boys all in the name of "not being s**ts" but they also hypocritically are likely to act all creeped when any guys find them attractive when they dress like a character from some neckbeard hentai addict's wet dream.
