Blasted character limit for the title. It could've been far worse. Stay safe driving, whether you're in Texas or anywhere. Luckily, myself and my niece both drive larger trucks, but that doesn't mean we're invincible. Nobody is, not even you people with Cybertrucks. (Truly, what is the deal with those?) For those worrying, my niece seems okay, but she is quite shaken up. She was on her way to work, and, being a young driver, this has been her only incident, but the road is a scary place nonetheless. As a result, she'll be missing work until further notice. Not-so-fun fact: The intersection running up where she lives is, in fact, the most dangerous road in the nation. Although I live in a different state with less traffic, I've still witnessed my fair share of troublesome events even in my home state. I've even seen a vehicle crash into a small fast-food establishment just because the driver was a texting teenager. Guys: Nothing is worth that. Always keep an eye on the road, obey traffic signals, and driving is not the time to do anything but driving. Not to dampen the meme, of course, because, especially when dealing with the culture we're dealing with, we all need a little chuckle to break up the tension. Not saying we need to go back to the era of dirt roads and horses, but it breaks my heart to imagine that literal animals had better control over where they were going than some humans do in vehicles. I'm sure not many of us have heard of a horse incident!
