They are genderless, and reproduce by forming a body with the melted wax, grabbing a wick from a special plant, and lighting it up

They live the best 5 days of their life before reproducing

I have an episode idea where Ethem befriends a candleperson, and the episode revolves around that person's life, and you're led to believe it's been years

But at the end when the candleperson is on its deathbed, Ethem walks in and is just "What happened I wasn't gone for even a week"

I like Paradoc because it is an equal mix of serious and silly
