Good point. However: the past year more people in the Netherlands have been attacked and injured by cows than by wolves. Yet, the people cry for the shooting of wolves and protect 'those poor cows against those vicious wolves!' And love to eat the meat of those same poor cows of which they know they get torture before they get killed and eaten. As a matter of fact: the new right wing government just voted against banning the torture of livestock and yet 'the people' voted for them 'because right wing populists love animals and so do we!" People are weird.

Thousands of years ago, did our ancestors eat cats, no they killed mice and other rodents that could hold diseases, they also kept such rodents out of crops, what did cows do, sit around and eat grass, and such that cats had a positive impact for us human beings our ancestors decided to eat cows for two reasons, they were easy to kill and they had lots a of meat on them.
