There was scrapped lore for some Pokémon found in the teraleak. One of the scrapped lore entries is Typhlosion grooming a girl and having a child with her.

I believe the rest of it goes: The typhlosion warns that if the father finds her, he would be forced to fight the girl’s father. When the father finds the typhlosion, he kills it. However, the girl then has to burn the eyes, heart, and something else of the typhlosion where the typhlosion was killed before returning to the village with the pelt. The story ends with the villagers bullying the family and the girl and eventually wrapping the girl in the typhlosion pelt, who then flees into the forest. I think the story wants us to assume she transforms into a typhlosion shortly after.

Dark for a kids game

Yes, very. Thank god it was scrapped so it’s not in the kids game, therefore not part of lore. Unfortunately now that it’s leaked, the damage to typhlosion is irreparable.

No they wouldn’t green light anything like this if they know the game is targeted to children. The stories appear to be based off of Japanese folklore though, replacing corresponding yokai/demons/spirits with Pokémon, so hopefully that’s just what they did in this case and then scrapped it because they knew that wouldn’t go over well in other countries.

There are several other scrapped entries with Pokémon x Human relations that seem to mimic folktales of mythology from yokais/demons or other mythologies from around the world. These involve Slaking, Rapidash, Octillary, Lapras, and some people are saying there is an ursarang one somewhere, but I have only seen these five. Ursarang and Rapidash’s story are reported to be the same/similar and Lapras and Octillary’s story is the same aside from octillary being tossed into the ocean after the guy is done “having relations” with it.
