Take politics out of immigration

Once illegal, always illegal.
An illegal alien forfeits his opportunity to become a legal citizen FOREVER.

Any illegal alien who re-enters the US AGAIN should go to prison, then eventually be deported again, and fined for every penny he's got, plus court costs. He shouldn't profit from his illegal vacation here.

Third offense is life without parole, working on a chain gang. Building the wall.

Agreed, naturalized citizenship only to those never caught entering illegally.

why should all immigrants who become citizens have to wait 18 years? would they have to wait 18 years to serve on juries, pay taxes, or be drafted to fight for their new country? wouldn't six years be enough to take the politics out?

In order to make it non-political. It’s a privilege to become a US citizen. Not a political tool for the democrats.
