The problem with this game is that its main menu and graphics settings still render the world and opening cutscene while it’s happening, so your system is already having problems in the menu if it can’t run the game well.
I looked it up, and this is a problem on the Steam Deck, which is stupid because it’s considered Steam Deck verified (wow it’s almost like they said that to increase sales and not because it actually runs well).
Some guides have the same issues as I do, and I have to change specific settings first and then apply them quickly before the game crashes. Also enabling Proton experimental helps with fixing bugs that normal Proton couldn’t do. I had to uninstall the game because it crashed and refused to launch again, but I’ll reinstall it tomorrow to see if these changes make it playable.
