Why does Whataburger genuinely have the best ketchup? Like their ketchup is just extremely viscous and grainy, which is a good thing. It stays on the fry and doesn’t fall off. McDonald’s ketchup and other places is extremely liquid. That’s not to say McDonald’s has bad ketchup, I love it. But Whataburger blows that out of the water. Plus it’s extremely salty and not sweet. Sweet ketchup just doesn’t work, so having it be salty and blending in with the fry is perfect.
That being said, I think it’s extremely stupid when I have to ask for ketchup packets. What am I a toddler? And why do you give me such a limited number? Are you so low on stock? Is your job at stake? Come on. I just want to dip my fries into some red delicious goodness.
