Abortion is safer than some forms of birth control that have been known to kill and permanently injured women. It was the only form of birth control in America after the American revolution, then down the line the AMA was founded and someone came up with the idea that it was wrong. Mainly because they saw lots of women getting them and we're alarmed at the number of women seeking abortion services. So it was made illegal for a very long time.
