I experience attraction after very specific conditions are met which has led me to haveing quite a few terms to try to explain those specific conditions.

I’m only attracted to someone sensually because of their personality. If I don’t like their personality, I won’t develop sensual feelings (cuddly feelings) for someone no matter how physically attractive they are.

I am only romantically interested in someone if I have a strong emotional bond with them or if there is a mental connection (falling for someone because of their intellect, ideas, opinions, how they see the world, etc). I am unable to form crushes quickly and easily. I only form crushes after I’ve gotten to know someone for a very long time. The most attractive person in the world could ask me out, but I’d turn them down if I don't feel close to them. I’m also polyamorous. I date multiple people that I have become very close to.

My sexuality orientation is I’m attracted to men and women for sure but possibly also nonbinary people, genderfluid people, etc, so I use both Bisexual and the umbrella term Multisexual. However, I have trauma which causes me to be dissociatsexual and sex-ambivalent which causes me to probably act differently than most bisexual people, so I use additional terms. While I experience sexual attraction, I’m much less likely to act on it and I typically wouldn't unless it’s someone I’m already dating.

I’m neurodivergent and have experienced a lot of trauma. I believe growing up the way I did in a very stressful/toxic environment and/or being neurodivergent probably had/has an influence on how I experience attraction so conditionally. However, I’d still be LGBTQ even if I had a healthy upbringing. I’d still be bisexual at minimum.

And it shouldn't have to be said, but of course, I’m only interested in other adults.
