The MAGA Rinos, who don't hold conservative principles, took over around 2017-2018. There are very few conservatives left in the GOP; Most of them are getting run off & they don't want to deal with the chaos created by MAGA fascists, who don't believe in traditional values, or support of our traditional allies, or in the Bill of Rights. Pretty soon you will have to look outside of the GOP entirely to find a conservative. For all Harris' faults, at least she believes in the constitution and the rule of law. That is why conservatives are gravitating towards her. Democracy is worth preserving-- unless you are a MAGA autocrat who will benefit from their power-grab.
