Jenna Ortega

I'm not a fan of the Wednesday series at all, but I have a lot of respect for Jenna Ortega. Here are my two reasons why.

1. She actually respects all previous movie and TV versions of The Addams Family, including the original comics in The New Yorker, which is more than can be said for Rachel Zegler in relation to Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs.
2. She learned a whole bunch of new skills to play Wednesday Addams. She learned how to speak German, how to row a canoe, how to play the cello, how to box, and (I am the most impressed by this) how to fence.

You can hate the character an actor/actress plays and still love the actor/actress. Many people who see Rose as the villain in the 1997 version of Titanic directed by James Cameron still like Kate Winslet as an actress.
