I joined imgflip back in 2022, and i have to say it has been an interesting time. Many of this website's best users have either deleted, gone inactive, or moved on with their lives, and the few that are left are not what they used to be.

Don't get me wrong, I have met quite a few great people on this site, but my life has changed quite dramatically in the past 6 months.

I have made the decision to leave this site on October 31st, 2025. I'm not going to say that this site is all bad, it has it's good moments, but recently the bad have far outweighed the good. Reading what Asriel said about becoming inactive after being a user here for a long time has given me pause to stop and think about imgflip's role in my life, and given that within the timeframe of 2 years, my life will me much different than it currently is. Almost no one on this site is without issues, and that is an undeniable fact, although some users here are good people, the majority of you are not, and I hope that if you can also see that.

After the 31st of October passes, my activity on this site will cease almost completely. I will check on things from time to time and possibly post, but once that day comes it will be the end of my time here.

To sum things up, I will return to this site periodically, to check Memechats and to possibly make the occasional post, and I believe that Asriel said this quite well:
