We are warned to beware of false prophets and Messiahs. Liars are everywhere. Be not deceived.

Man is indeed both broken and fallen. This is why we must seek God. Only He can bring us back into a relationship with Him.

How does your reply relate to my point?

There are many religions that are not a part of a relationship to the God of the Bible. Within churches associated with the God of the Bible, there are many that do not like what the word of God tells them to do. Pre 1865 in America, there were a political party in the South that used the Bible to justify the owning of other people. This is just one example of the word of God wrongly used by broken humanity. As my post said: only seeking God can we ever grow closer to God.

Any proof that it's your religion that is the true one?

The personal anecdotal knowledge would not help you. The historical evidence found in both archeology and in secular literature point best to the word of God. The creation accounts in the multiple religions only find sense in the book of Genesis. Many religions mention Jesus Christ and their ideologies as paths to God, while Jesus proclaims that He is the only way. The eyewitness accounts written by Jesus followers and those that knew those followers proclaim His resurrection and then those followers refuse to deny what they saw, they are horribly and painfully killed. At the time of "Watergate" powerful men that knew the truth of the crimes could not hold to whatever lie the had agreed upon, even though the punishment they faced was far less.

You know you could argue the exact same way from the perspective of literally any other religion?

And many do, but since each makes truth claims, only one can be correct..or none of them. That is where taking the time to seek the true God should be of paramount importance to each of us. It's possible, one could suppose, that sitting on a fence between belief and unbelief might allow a person to 'cover all bases', but this is a binary choice.
Believe that we are all sinners.
That we cannot do anything to bridge the gap back to God on our own.
That God, in the form of Jesus the Christ, entered into humanity as a baby in Bethlehem.
Lived a sinless life.
Suffered and died a horrific death nailed to a cross while shedding His blood.
Took the burden of our sins upon Himself on that cross to pay the penalty for our sins against God.
And was raised from death, defeating the devil's attempts to drag us all to the lake of fire with him.

"or none of them" Your solution: choose one randomly. I fold. Bye
