Genesis 2:22-25; Eve is declared married by God before she even has a name:
this is biblical marriage, where a "woman"
can be born and married before she even has an identity.
I don't suppose we would accept THAT is today's world,
but there does seems to be some interest by those
on the Right to deny women any say over their lives.
