In a kingdom known for its valor and honor, there lived a knight named Sir Cedric. Renowned for his bravery and unwavering loyalty, he defended his realm against any threat. One fateful day, during a fierce battle against a rival kingdom, a devastating accident struck. A collapsing tower crushed Cedric, taking his life and leaving his comrades in despair.
However, death was not the end for Sir Cedric. Bound by unfinished business and his unwavering sense of duty, his spirit lingered on the battlefield. As the years passed, his soul became restless, wandering the halls of the ancient castle where he once served. It was there that he stumbled upon his old suit of armor, long forgotten and coated in dust.
In a moment of desperate yearning to protect his kingdom once more, Cedric merged with the armor, becoming Crest, the spectral knight. Now possessing ghostly powers, he could phase through walls, become invisible, and communicate with other lost souls. When wearing the armor, he gained superhuman strength, capable of vanquishing foes with a single blow.
But Crest's existence was tinged with sorrow. He longed for peace and the chance to finally rest. Yet, as a ghost, he faced a unique dilemma: the only way to truly pass into the afterlife was to embrace death once more. He realized that to release his soul, he must sacrifice himself for a noble cause, protecting the innocent one last time.
As Crest roams the land, he now seeks opportunities to fight for justice, hoping that in his final act of bravery, he can find redemption and earn his place in the afterlife, leaving behind the haunted memories of his past. He has now recently found a friend, a young magical girl who is able to turn music into a weapon. She is looking for her real home as she doesn't remember where she came from.
