Kirk Hammett drawing (Metallica)

This is an incredible drawing. Iam familiar with the band and the guitarist here. Although, not my genre, they do have a collaboration with the San Francisco Symphony that was titled S&M2, which is actually quite good. Nonetheless, and not to take anything away from the young woman that drew this man. Dare I say her detail work continues to amaze me. It's as if she drew hom feeling the reverberating sound emanating from his guitar. Takes a brave artist including the guitarist to literally wear one of his own band t-shirts, which she captured brilliantly the details on the t-shirt are really good, and the guitar is on point with what a metal band guitarist would use, and one he may have. The artist must love to draw hands, she is exceptionally talented at drawing hand details and does so very well indeed. Her attention down to the rings even. The fingers, knuckles and ring. This brilliant artist is hopefully well on her way to making many a wonderful books as she is wanting to do, as I've been told. She needs to be cheered on for taking her dreams to the next level and letting her friend post her art on this site. I feel I've been away for a bit, mostly due to work, but I am on the mend from a cold and getting back on track, I look forward to whatever is next in this wonderful catalog of art!

Ah, not sure if I've heard the symphonic album. Should I give it a listen sometime? Yes, all you say is true. She's amazing.

Yes, I heard it at a friend's house a while back, it was on in the background and it was different, but I liked it and asked what it was.
I wound up purchasing it. Worth a listen, you may or may not like it. Stream it.

Amazing. Admittedly, I'm no metalhead (currently listening to Miles Davis - All Blues. Brilliant track.), but even I can appreciate the love and passion it took to illustrate this man in such a way. I mean, the graphic on the tank shirt looks so intricate, so bloody good I can't help but be drawn to it, and the knuckles and fingers? Ah, man, I wish I were capable of such natural talent. It doesn't stop at the details, though. The raw emotion in his face expertly showcases how deep in thought he is about what he may be playing, even if it is just practice, and, evidently, he is as passionate about his craft as the artist who drew him. Makes even little old me nearly curious enough to want to at least hear one note of his playing because although I may not be a fan, if he is half as passionate as Abby's friend here, I'm willing to give anything a try. Again, sorry for my rambling. I'm just such a sucker for good art, being somewhat of an artist myself, although I'm neither a very good drawer or a musician.

That looks pretty good, you could probably become a professional painter or a graphic designer. Also, how long did it take you to make the drawing?
