BubbleTale: Possible Game Over Screens (Chapters 1 and 2)

Possible Game Over #1: Standard

Trigger: This is the standard game over screen. As such, there isn't a specific trigger. However, this game over can only play during Chapter One.

How the Sequence Plays Out: The player character is under a spotlight, and the options are to "Try Again", "Load From Last Checkpoint", or "Main Menu". Pressing try again loads you back to the room/battle you were in when you died.

Since I've utterly destroyed your brain with my Kid Icarus shit, let me allow you to teach you of the "Game Over" in the series.

Instead of your stereo-typical "Game over", instead you get a black screen with pixilated text saying "I'M FINISHED!"

There's a retry, menu and setting(to lower the intensity, but the intensity is exclusive to Uprising)

Possible Game Over #2: FNF reference

Trigger: This is an easter egg, and can be triggered at random.

How the Sequence Plays Out: It just looks like the rare FNF retry screen [seen in the picture], except that your player character is in Boyfriend's place.

Possible Game Over #3: Earthbound reference

Trigger: This is an easter egg, and can be triggered at random.

How the Sequence Plays Out: The exchange below occurs.

* Hey [Player/Team Leader]! Looks like you got your ass handed to you. Wanna give it another try?
[Yes/No]

Yes: Oh! Well, let me get you set up. (Loading..) Ok, all set. Don't give up!

No: You sure? The next time you start your adventure, you'll be brought back to your last save. Is that ok? (Not ok! / I'm sure)

[Not ok!] Oh. Well, if you wanna continue.. let me get you set up. (Loading..)

[I'm sure] It must've been a nightmare. See you soon, [Player/Team Leader]!

Possible Game Over #4: You Died / You Failed

Trigger: This is the standard game over screen for Chapter Two (based on several horror games). As such, there isn't a specific trigger. However, it should be noted that the sequence is different, depending on how the player dies.

How the Sequence Plays Out: You get to see who or what killed you, and a tip for how to survive it the next time around.

Possible Game Over #5: Rats, Spiders, and Snakes, Oh My!

Trigger: This is a game over screen for Chapter Two. For this specific sequence, you have to have Bubbles as the player character when you get to the sewer tunnels leading to a neighboring town to Brightwood.

How the Sequence Plays Out: You have to navigate the sewer tunnels. Making three wrong turns in the tunnels can give you a chance to run into three different kinds of dangerous animals. And the death quotes?

Rats: I have a gnawing feeling that I made a mistake. Rats!
Snakes: "Venom" I gonna learn that snakes aren't good friends?!
Spiders: Aw gross! Looks like I’ve hit a dead end.. or should I say, a web end? Never mind.
