As for bands, I mostly listen to Skillet, Newsboys, and MercyMe

I checked out Flyleaf. i csn see why you like them, truly. Have you seen Evenescence "My Immortal" video on YouTube? That song became my theme song when I was healing from childhood abuse. Still Can't listen to it without flying to him in spirit. It overwhelms me. I couldn't have healed without him. Even though, at times, He was sooo intense, I didn't want him to stop helping me. For me, it is a theme song.

I love evenesense. They can be a bit depressing at times, so I try and not listen to them too much. Same goes for flyleaf.

Hey, I've got a question...I know I am only assuming...but since you like the goth side I wonder if you could handle the stories from my youth. I found a young artist who let me use her art memes to start telling my stories. But one person kind of freaked out about it...a lot of people can't handle the darker side of life. But I have to include those stories in order to tell my Christian journey. Do you think younger people could, overall, handle sad/true horror stories?

I'm a big fan of the hymns, but for more modern contemporary Christian music, I either go for rap group Beautiful Eulogy or some of Montell Fish's early albums, particularly It's Beautiful. Some of my favorite tracks from Beautiful Eulogy are Beautiful Eulogy (same name haha), Instruments of Mercy, Symbols and Signs, The Size of Grace, Mosaic, and Messiah. For King & Country is a good group too.

In terms of specific songs, MercyMe's I Can Only Imagine is wonderful. Shine by Sisterbrother is nice and calming. Besides all these examples, I often go to a playlist of either Christian lofi or more chill worship music for devotional time. So yeah.

I haven't heard of some of those groups: I tend not to like rap as its hard for me to understand the lyrics. But ill check them out!

Beautiful Eulogy is thankfully pretty understandable, which is probably on purpose so that anyone is able to understand the messages they're conveying. They have a really good sound too that's pretty contrary to most rap music these days. I'm also not really much for rap, but I have exceptions, and this is one of them!

Yeah, you're right. Beautiful Eulogy is understandable. Nice rhythm, too. I couldn't do Instruments of Mercy, though. There's a certain beat that affects my brain and I can't sort out the words. Thanks for the new sounds, though. I enjoyed some.

Are you male? I want to say I have great respect for males. You have a lot to carry on your shoulders. I believe the Lord made males strong in ways that I am not and I rely on the brains of males to help me from time to time. That song, "Out of my hands"... very appropriate for males. Nice choice.
