You really don't know how it works, do you? If the landlord can't make bank payments or taxes (and insurance) then the tenants have no home after awhile.

End of lease, I tell you that rent is going up to cover increased taxes. You have two choices:

Pay the increase or move.

If you don’t pay rent the courts WILL allow you to be evicted.

Yes, the landlord has a right to raise rents at the end of a lease, but not before. Your earlier comment didn't state "end of lease".

This is why none of my renters have a lease longer than 12 months, and I send the new lease out at the end of the 9th month letting them know what is going to happen. Gives them plenty of time to decide and take action
