Each guardian created three "primary" children for themselves, with each of them being named after the months of the year (January, February, and so on). Thine would create the seeds, alot them to different environments with the other guardians, and with enough tending to, the seeds became beings of their own. The other creatures the guardians create are considered their "children" too, and help in each guardian's endeavors.
Of course, no one on the family tree is perfect considering their personalities. For example, Tulav and Thine sometimes fought over when winter would end and when spring would start. It's a rather feeble quarrel now, but it created much tension in the early days of their existence.
Another example, when any of the guardians become too stressed, they create storms. Tornadoes, hurricanes, and others.
