Gotham’s (the TV show and the version of him I was talking to) Riddler has Ed showing interest in multiple women and he dates multiple women during the events of the show too. He's very close with Penguin though (who is a gay man in the show) and there are lots of shippable moments between him and Penguin. There are also quite a few moments where Riddler doesn't seem all that straight.
My personal opinion is this version of Riddler is secretly bisexual but prefers women. He’d be a closeted bisexual man who might also have internalized homophobia. I feel like he hates himself for having gay thoughts when they appear, but is ok if other people are not straight.
