They did allegedly get married (he called Clo his spouse), so I believe the “he was going to propose to Clo” was true. The picture of DK on his desk was probably fake. Most of it was probably fake.

Clo did lie. I’m sorry, but it's the truth. Doing an ongoing social experiment where someone is dead for 3 months to see how people react is a cruel lie. The first “Jay's dead” post was something Jay wanted because he was very sure he was going to die. If he didn't actually die, the responsible thing to do would be to tell everyone he’s ok, however, they chose not to do that and instead made up stories about Jay being dead for 3 months.
