he smokes all day because he's a nervous wreck when he isn't high
the reason for his change in appearance is that the weed he's smoking has some pretty strange effects upon long term usage
he's desperate for any social interaction but hides it very well
his version of Josiah lives in the corner of his room since he's too high (and probably too dead) to move 24/7
and like madnez said: in a few years he will turn into a weed plant and become weed jesus
