My personal opinion is it's ok to say you have a crush on a character or do a smash or pass list if the characters are age-appropriate to the person making the list (minors listing under 18 characters, adults listing only other adult characters). If you go into detail about what you would do to the character or what you want the character to do to you, that's when it crosses the line.
