At the DNC convention the women’s restroom sign was replaced and read gender neutral. The mens restroom sign remained the mens room. That tells you that women are treated as second class citizens.
I do find women to be more tolerant. It just struck me funny that mens sign was left alone. (I know it was DNC party planners applying signage) Simple answer may be. It might confuse the men and women as to which one to use.
