You know the American Public School system(s) have a wide array of curricula, special education programs, accommodations for students with disabilities, Magnet schools, Charter schools, free and reduced lunches for economically disadvantaged. There is busing so kids don't have to walk to school. There are school counselors. At the beginning of every school year free back-packs, lunch boxes, and schools supplies are donated and collected from different charities, civic, and church groups. It is true that some schools are better funded than others, but resources are available for any students who want to learn to get an education. If a kid fails out they do assessment tests, put in a different class, remediate, or repeat the class.
All that being said, "the system [schools]" can't force unmotivated, disruptive students to learn. And you don't think they are responsible, in part at least, for their failure to succeed in life?
