we are not far from 80…no kids back then, no kids now and we have no regrets.

why do think that people without kids can’t have as good or better time than ones with kids?

guess ho would be having a sht life right now without me and my sister.........my mother in her 70s 100% her life would be MISERABLE, i know that for a fact. The joy she has when she sees us, no one esle cares about her aaccept me and my sister.

that sucks for your mom, but that does not describe all childless people. you do understand that, right?

How would you know what it’s like at the holidays surrounded by your own children and grand children?

true, it isn’t around my own kids, but i do know what it’s like to be in a house full of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. o never felt the need to have kids to make me fill whole.

So… It’s not like you are really spending the holidays without children at all. You are just glomming on to your brother’s and/or sister’s children.

i don’t do it every year, and it’s been a few since i did. my Christmases the last few years have been spent on a nice warm beach with good friends, good weather, good wine, good cigars…my life isn’t lacking because of not having kids.

i get it that it’s a hard concept for you to grasp, but trust me, it’s much better

To each their own I guess. Holidays are not the only time of the year that I enjoy the smiles, love and hugs from my children and grandchildren, but Christmas spent without the joyful sounds of children seems particularly horrible to me.

what happens to the women that have no husband? Worked all their life. no kids and they get to 80yrs old? No family xmas, no family birthdays, no family thanks giving. No one coming over to say hi, no phone calls.

i know for a FACT that my mother would be miserable without me and my sister coming to see her sometimes, offering birthday presents, xmas presents, thanks giving, makign dinner for her sometimeso her making dinner for us for family time, there is NO OE ELSE in her life spending time with her of give her joy like her kids do, thats a fact. No i think YOU are delusional and you might be the downfall of western society.
