Trump + Hannibal = Weird

Trump uses Hannibal Lecter as a means of showing the people crossing the borders are from jails and insane Asylums - at least some of them are.

And since nobody understands this-- maybe you are the one exception-- Let's just say he is an extremely poor communicator. I've read many articles about this, and citizens are perplexed. He does not effectively tie the two streams of thought together.

He doesn't lose those voters. The sharper ones feel included by the inside jokes
